Remembering Andy Reese

“To love is to risk not being loved in return. To hope is to risk pain. To try is to risk failure, but risk must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is risking nothing.”
- Andy

Andrew Reese, a popular 16-year-old Shrewsbury High School student, passed away December 7, 2010 as a result of a tragic car accident.
In honor of their son, Andy’s Attic was created by Darrell and Lisa Reese, Andy's Parents, to provide clothing to young teens in Worcester County.
In 2013 Andy's Attic was relocated and adopted by South High Community School under the direction of Christine Foley and Maureen Binienda.
South High is honored to continue and maintain this non-profit in loving memory of Andy and to fulfill the mission his parents lovingly established in their Shrewsbury home.

"“Andy was a well-liked and a dynamic student leader,” Mr. Reagan wrote. “His death will be a significant loss to our school and the Shrewsbury community.”"

"“I’ve never seen a school affected so much by one kid,” Brett said. Andrew’s friends at St. John’s High School in Shrewsbury told him there was a moment of silence there as well."
